12 Recording Cues

12.1 OVERVIEW

When you have adjusted the intensity and colour of your fixtures and possibly created an animation(s) or shapes, the current output of the MantraLite can be recorded into a red fader for later playback.
This recording is known as a “Cue” and it contains the intensity and all other attributes such as colour, position etcetera plus any animations that are currently running.

When you have adjusted the intensity and colour of your fixtures and possibly created an animation(s) or shapes,...

Image you have a broad range of different fixtuers on stage and are programing your show.

What is the easiest and fastest way during programing to:
- selelct
- and consquently save
just ONE feature in a CUE?

Background:
I want to run a show by adding / combining manually cues
- let's cal it "slicing a show",

eg:

CUE 1: moving light position A
CUE 2: moving light position B
CUE 3: moving light position C
CUE 4. color mix A
CUE 5. color mix B
CUE 6: Gobo mix A
CUE 7: Gobo mix B
CUE 8: moving light animation A
CUE 9: moving light animation B

Running the show:

Scene 1 = CUE 1 + CUE 4
Scene 2 = CUE 1 + CUE 6
Scene 3 = CUE 2 + CUE 5 + CUE 9
etc.

Record Cues1-3 to Fader1

Record Cues 4-5 to Fader2

Record Cues 6-7 to Fader3

Edit the memory in Fader1 and set the filters (include) to [P].

Edit the memory in Fader2 and set the filters (include) to [C].

Edit the memory in Fader3 and set the filters (include) to [B].

The movement animations are a little tricky, as we only allow filtering per type, so you must include the animations into Fader1, but they will also include the positions.

They are in the current user manual (v1.35) which is on the website. For some reason is what disabled in downloads, but that is now fixed.

See section 16.1.5 (Include ICPB attributes).

i just checked back through the release notes (which are on the website so you can also do this).

It was in v1.30

The info is in the v1.30 manual as well - look under section 15.1.5
