Oh i see what you mean!

No, I think the easy way is like you did, make a chase cuelist and bounce it.

Would be good if Clarity had a bounce in dynamics to.

By the way, there's no real random in dynamics ether.....

The method "chase  cuelist" is simple, but very uncomfortable and long ....

In dynamics it will be fast and convenient

Very late to the party.

I think this can be achieved buy using a square wave and setting the phase shift values between 50-99.99%. Only these values will work due to the way mirroring works. Please note this won't work with other wave-forms.(Happy to be corrected here)

Duty factor = 1 and Mirror on. No offset

Also if you're using multi-cell units with a global channel, program without the global and then make a No Global group to playback. (however playing back on the global group can give some interesting effects too)

Try this:

Number of fixtures or cells minus 1 (12 fixtures-1 = 11)

50/11 =4.5454 repeater

First fixture 50%

Second fixture 54.54%

Third 59.09% etc etc

On a calculator: 50 + whatever the value is and then just keep pressing = to get the next value. You might have to do some rounding and fudging as you go.

Make sure you only go to 99.99%

eg 6 fixtures - 1 = 5

50/5 = 10

Set second fixture to 59.99 and add 10 every time after that so that you get to 99.99% (Or 49.99/nfixtues-1  (not recommended)

Cheers hope this helps somebody.
