Phase Failure E Pak

I had an issue at work today that appeared to be aphase failure and need some help investigating. I have a couple of simple questions:
When a phase Failure occurs is it considered normal for the dimmer to drop all channels to 0 across all phases?
Is there any other error which would cause this + a scrolling message on the display?
The dimmer was mounted in an inaccessible location due to a non-typical environment. I noticed that there was writing scrolling across the display but it was located a fair distance away from me so I couldn't work out what it was saying.

If the dimmer loses one or two phases only, then the remaining phases all work normally.
So what you saw was something different. Phases failures only show up as the Phase LED going out. There is no scrolling message.
How long did the lights go out for?
Maybe all 3 phases went out and the scrolling message was the dimmer rebooting, which takes about 1.5 seconds before the lights turn back on.
