How To Store One Preset With Beam And Positions?

Hi all

I am trying to store one preset with beam and positions in, but I always getting tow preset, one whit beam and one with position whey?

Can some please help :)

OK this can be a bit confusing.

 

You are not getting two presets, you are just seeing the one preset twice !

 

This is due to the different window panes for Position, Colour and Beam. If a preset has P+C then it appears in both areas. If it has P+C+B it will appear 3 times.

 

This is very powerful if used in conjunction with the [Auto-Mask] button.

- If AutoMask is turned on and you click on a P+C+B preset in the Position pane, then only the position will be applied. If you click on the same preset in the Colour pane, then only the colour is applied. The same goes for the Beam pane.

- If you turn off AutoMask then you get the same result in all 3 panes.

It is a way of getting more options out of less programming.

 

Does that make sense?

Cool! It sound great thanks!
I try to make the preset for "selected fixtures only" but I get that function to work :( I make my preset and then check the box, but when the preset it store I can selected whit some other lamps. Why?

Hi agin

 

I have now try it, and it looks like when I presse the preste "1" at positions, I allowso have to press "1" in beam fo get the right focus, is it not possible to make one preset whit pos and beam in?

Un check "Auto mask" and then click one of the presets.
