Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can tell me the format for fixture templates on the Axiom? I'll be back behind it next week but would be good to convert a Maxim template over before I go in.

Thanks

Hi Owen,

I presume you have an Axiom 12, 24 or 36 console.

The Axiom templates are not user changable. When the Axiom was released in the 1990's the world was a very different place. There were only 6-8 manufacturers of moving lights and they only released 1-2 new fixtures a year. This meant that we only had to update the templates once or twice a year. Also the Axiom was a fader based console, so did not have the complex templates like a maXim, all the template did was tell the patch which channels were HTP (the dimmer) and LTP (all the other stuff).

Therefore templates were included with the firmware updates, rather than as separate files, so you cannot update the templates yourself.

Hi Richie,

A 60/120 actually.

No worries re-template then, I knew I was being optimistic!

Will softpatch manually.

Cheers
