On the MIMIM, there is an Audio Input socket. Can this input take an audio signal connected directly from a computer playing music to trigger the chases?
Cheers

Hi Stevo,

Yes it can. Refer to the manual for the detail of how to do it.
The manual can be downloaded from here

Thanks Gary.
It was from the manual that I had found out about the audio input. I assumed it was from an attached microphone and was not sure about connecting a direct line from a computer. Did not want to damage the unit trying it.
Thanks for clearing it up.

Hi Stevo,

As you can see from the manual the input requires about a 1V RMS signal i.e. standard line level to work properly.
A microphone by itself won't work as the level will be too low.
Oh and the input is overload protected just in case some people do feed with too high a level. biggrin.gif

Cheers
